The 1997 cult classic creature feature 'Anaconda' has become real, transforming into a surprising meta-comedy. The upcoming sixth installment in the franchise, which includes three sequels, and a killer crocodile crossover 'Lake Placid vs. Anaconda'. The trailer for this remake has been released recently.
Directed by 'The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent' fame Tom Gormican, this new 'Anaconda' remake adds humor to the original film. It stars Griff (Paul Rudd) and Doug (Jack Black), two friends who love the 1997 film. The ill-equipped, ambitious duo attempt to remake the film, but things take a turn for the worse when a real-life killer snake enters their set.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the official trailer for 'Anaconda'. The trailer opens with Doug. Doug, who is having a midlife crisis, arrives at Griff's house and pitches his idea for a remake of their beloved feature film, Creature. He describes it as "the greatest adventure of his life."
Together with their friends Claire (Thandiwe Newton) and Kenny (Steve Zahn), they struggle to come up with a budget, a script, and a live snake. However, when the snake they brought dies, they head into the jungle to find a new one. That's when they encounter a real, massive killer anaconda.
After this, several life-threatening comical incidents occur. The trailer features scenes where the group, thinking Doug is dead, tries to use him as bait, only to discover he's still alive, putting him in serious danger. The famous line "my anaconda don't..." from the Sir Mix-a-Lot song "Baby Got Back" is also used frequently in the trailer.
