‘Telusu Kada’, starring Sidhu Jonnalagadda, Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, is an unusual triangle love story. Renowned fashion stylist Neeraja Kona is making her directorial debut and the film, produced under the banner of People Media Factory, has huge expectations among the audience. Unlike Tillu-type characters, Sidhu Jonnalagadda appears in a role with an emotional conflict, so let’s see how much this love story has impressed the audience.
Plot: Unexpected twists
The story of the film revolves around the hero Varun (Sidhu Jonnalagadda). Varun, who decides to settle down in life after a breakup, marries Anjali (Raashi Khanna). While their married life is going on happily, it is revealed that Anjali has a problem with pregnancy. With this, the couple decides to have a child through surrogacy (surrogate pregnancy). In this sequence, Raga (Srinidhi Shetty) enters Varun's life as a surrogacy doctor. However, Raga is none other than... the girl Varun loved in the past, his first love.
With this unexpected twist, the entire story changes. The main purpose of this film is the emotional conflict between his wife Anjali and ex-girlfriend Raga, who have to live in the same house. The way director Neerja Kona has dealt with such a bold and sensitive concept seems very new and sensible. However, this is where the audience starts to get a little confused. This story revolves entirely around the characters and tries to show only the psychological conflict without giving any room for violence.

Actors' Performance: Sidhu Mark Special Attraction
The main strength of this film is the performance of the actors, especially Sidhu Jonnalagadda. Moving away from the 'Tillu' type of roles, he delivered a settled performance in the role of Varun. Sidhu Pariniti was seen in this role, which combines love, ego and emotions. His comedy timing and one-liners were impressive here and there. Especially, Sidhu left his mark in some emotional scenes.
Raashi Khanna gave her best performance in the role of Anjali. She expressed the internal conflict, anger and love that she experiences when her husband and his ex-girlfriend live in the same house very well. Srinidhi Shetty, despite having less screen space, impressed in the role of Raaga in a pivotal role. Her chemistry with Sidhu was also good. Viva Harsha, as the hero's friend, gave good relief in the comedy track first off.
Technical departments: Music, Visuals
The story chosen by director Neerja Kona and the realistic dialogues she wrote are plus points for the film. However, the slow narration in some parts of this seemingly new story – especially in the second half – may make the audience a little impatient. The execution could have been better. The climax may not convince some viewers completely.
Thaman’s music forms the backbone of this film. While the songs are already hits, the background music also lends strength to the emotional scenes. Gnanasekhar’s cinematography is very rich and fresh. Every frame is presented beautifully like a painting. Editor Naveen Nooli’s editing is sweet, but the pace slows down in the second half. People Media Factory’s production values are high.
Final Verdict
‘Telusu Kadda’ is not a typical love story. It is a refreshing romantic drama that discusses modern relationships and emotions. Sidhu Jonnalagadda's performance, stylish filmmaking, and Thaman's music are the main attractions. Although the story is new, the slow-paced narrative may not fully connect with the mass audience.
Who should watch: This film is a good weekend watch for youth audiences and family audiences who like new storylines, character conflicts, and feel-good romantic dramas.
